Falun Gong Practitioner Suffers from Excruciating Torture in Changchun

Falun Gong practitioner Yan Huawei was found missing in September 2002. The police from the Zhengyang Police Station abducted him while he was making calls from a phone booth. At the police station, a group of four to five cruel young officers in their 20's beat him for over two hours, distorting his face . Then they sent him to the Luyuan District Police Department, where policemen Chen Long, Yuan Dachuan and others tortured him with the tiger bench, a method of vicious torture. They forced his arms from over his head from behind his back until he passed out from the pain.

Mr. Yan was seriously injured and is still being held in the Third Detention Centre in Shuangyang. His poor eyes haven't recovered from the torture and the bruises on his body are still visible. The cold-blooded perpetrators who abused him, officers Chen and Yuan, remain at large.
