Hebei Province's Evil "610 Office" Tortures Younger Sister to Paralysis, Older Sister to Disability

When police at the Weimingjie Police Station in Shijiazhuang City discovered Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Huiqi distributing truth-clarification materials, they took her away and illegally sent her into the Shijiazhuang Labour Camp, Division 4. As soon as Huiqi entered the labour camp, the police there began trying to brainwash her. Because of the torture, Huiqi's body was severely damaged; however, the police refused to release her on medical parole. In the end, Huiqi's entire body became paralysed and she is in great pain.

Seeing that Huiqi had become completely paralysed, the police finally asked her family to take her home in order to shirk their responsibility for her physical condition. After Huiqi returned home, personnel from the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] chose not to show up in person, but instead sent people to threaten Huiqi's husband, numerous times, even though he does not practise Falun Gong. In the end, the family was forced to separate. Huiqi's medical expenses and care primarily come from her eldest sister, Li Huimin, who is already experiencing financial hardship. Moreover, on many occasions the "610 Office" attempted to illegally shut down the family's small shop, which is their only source of income for the entire family.

As of today, Huiqi has been bed-ridden for sixteen months. Even after considerable care from family members, Huiqi remains paralysed. Right now, she still requires tubes for breathing and eating to be inserted in her body for her survival (see attached photos). Huiqi's pain and suffering over the past sixteen months demonstrates the viciousness of Hebei Province's "610 Office."

On May 8, in collusion with the"610 Office," Shijiazhuang City Police Department's Railway Division abducted Huiqi's elder sister, Li Huixin, who had been forced to leave home because of the persecution. Police listed Huixin as an "important target," and intensified their persecution of her.

After several days of continuous torture, both of Huixin's arms were disabled. Despite this, the police did not stop, but instead sent her to the brainwashing centre in Hebei Province. She has been imprisoned there ever since.

So far, Huixin has been kept in the brainwashing centre for nearly three months, but she is still determined in her belief of Falun Dafa. Her employer, Shijiazhuang Railway Station's Passenger Transport Division was forced to pay for the expenses related to her persecution. An officer in Shijiazhuang Railway Station's Passenger Transport Division said, " The "610" Office does not allow Li Huixin to be released."
