Chinese Officials Satisfy their Greed by Persecuting Falun Dafa Practitioners

Local Officials Extort Money From Falun Dafa Practitioners

On July 5, 2001, about 15 practitioners in some areas of Sichuan Province were arrested when validating Falun Dafa to the public. Three of them were soon bailed out. Five of them were later bailed out by their families after suffering from nearly unbearable physical tortures for more than two months. Others were still under detention and subject to vicious cruelty because their families cannot afford to bail them out.

The evil force manipulated bad people to beat good people, and even to beat senior citizens much older than the police officers' own mothers, and to make money from Falun Dafa practitioners under all different fabricated chargeable means such as fine, bail, deposit, etc. They treated practitioners just like money-making machines: all practitioners were fined from one to five thousand Yuan. Their choices were either to pay the money, or to be sentenced to jail. Their greed was satisfied through the persecution. Some poor practitioners' families could not afford to pay the money, and had to stay in jail while they had sick families who needed their care, and farmlands that needed their work. But those local officials never cared about these circumstances. They have completely no moral conscience.
