Recently, a local Seoul court officially accepted a criminal lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan that was filed by a South Korean citizen, Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Shu. The Korean Falun Dafa Association held a press conference on December 26th 2003 and announced the above-mentioned news.
According to reports from the Epoch Times and Boxun Net, the plaintiffs Zhang Shu and her daughter Zhao Yingyi were arrested many times in China for practising Falun Gong. The lawsuit was applied for under the Korean national criminal law and the international convention about preventing and punishing the crime of genocide enacted in 1951.
