Heilongjiang Province Dafa Practitioner Ms. Pang Siyuan Passes Away as a Result of Abuse and Torture

Dafa practitioner Ms. Pang Siyuan was from the surrounding area of Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. She was abducted in November 2002 while attending an experience sharing conference and was detained in Shuangcheng No.2 Detention Centre. Ms. Pang was cruelly tortured, both mentally and physically. Her physical condition kept deteriorating after she was released three months later. She died from the effects of these abuses and torments in May 2003.

In December 2000, the three members of her family went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. They were abducted, escorted back and detained in Shuangcheng No.2 Detention Centre. They were released 15 days later. Several days after that, on January 1, 2001, they were deceived into going to the Shuangcheng Brainwashing Centre. Dozens of Dafa practitioners had been abducted and taken there, both male and female. They were locked in one room that was temporarily modified for holding and abusing practitioners.

On January 21, 2001, Pang Siyuan was transferred out of the brainwashing centre, together with her daughter. They were forcibly sent to the notorious Wanjia Labour Camp for one year of forced labour. Her husband was sent to the Changlinzi Labour Camp.
