Belated Report: Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yu Xiuqing from Xiwuguan, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, was tortured to death in 2001.
Ms. Yu Xiuqing was 47 years old. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in October 2000 and was arrested by Chengguanzhen Police Substation Director Zhou Qinghua, Secretary Liu, Vice Director Du Jing-an, and others. Police sent her to Lingyuan City Detention Centre, then onto Masanjia Labour Camp at the beginning of November 2000.
Ms. Yu suffered a nervous breakdown because she was tortured in the labour camp. Police asked her family to pick her up and, on July 8, 2001, Ms. Yu passed away.
