Thoughts After An Experience Sharing Conference On Clarifying The Facts

The central region truth clarifying experience-sharing conference concluded successfully with practitioners from the entire province participating and sharing enthusiastically with each other. Unfortunately, due to the short time given for sharing experiences, practitioners couldn’t say all they had wanted to say. However, participants benefited from the rich and valuable experiences shared by practitioners and they also benefited greatly from the proposals that were a result of the collective thoughts and the process of encouraging practitioners to overcome difficulties and attachments and join the great tide of the Fa rectification. They deeply felt that it was worthwhile making the trip. In addition, there were all kinds of brief reports and experiences shared on clarifying the truth about the persecution, making this conference a powerful union for the forces of Fa rectification.

The main objective of our clarifying the truth is to save sentient beings. This experience sharing conference provided an opportunity for us to improve as one body, exchange insights on inadequacies in each other’s Fa rectification work, find ways to amend shortcomings and hence minimise losses. There were interesting and touching reports on topics discussed during the conference including how to consolidate Fa rectification efforts and encourage fellow practitioners to keep up with the progress of Fa rectification as well as how to work together to clarify the truth and save sentient beings. Below I have compiled some of the experiences shared at the conference regarding making phone calls to clarify the truth to share with fellow practitioners. To those practitioners who also participated in this conference, if you find anything inappropriate, please correct me so that the content of this experience sharing conference will be even more perfect and substantial.

1. Clarify the truth to our compatriots in China with pure, righteous thoughts and a compassionate heart. Even if it is just a few short sentences, it will have the effect of touching people’s hearts and clarifying the truth.

2. The capabilities of Dafa practitioners are limitless. So long as you have the strong righteous thought of saving sentient beings, Master will bestow disciples with all kinds of abilities. Don’t be affected by the other party’s status or title; nor be put off by their threatening and rude manner. Just think in your heart, regardless of their reaction, I just want to clarify the truth to sentient beings.

3. Without deviating from the Fa [Law or Principle] clarify the truth to ordinary people appropriate to their tastes and take note to speak in a respectful tone so that the other party can feel our compassion and concern for them.

4. Respect the other party’s right to speak. Don’t speak hurriedly and talk endlessly for fear they might hang up the phone. Doing so will create a negative effect. Instead, you can ask whether he knows that the Tiananmen self-immolation was faked and tell him Jiang Zemin is being prosecuted in the international courts. Don’t say too much all at once. Using questions and answers, both parties have the opportunity to speak, thus you can clarify the truth more deeply and meticulously directed at his doubts. Be rational, determined, and not afraid of hardship; achieve the effect of clarifying the truth deeply, meticulously and clearly.

5. Regardless of who the other party is, we must save them with compassionate, righteous thoughts (eliminating the evil in other dimensions controlling him to do evil deeds). Even if the other party is a policeman, we must first believe that he is a good man (awaken his conscience and kind thoughts), tell him the truth using the concern for his future as a starting point. Let him know you are afraid he is being deceived by false information and may have done a foolish thing harming both himself and others. Ask him not to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong. Encourage him not to blindly act on wrong orders, where he would not only be used as a scapegoat, but may also implicate family members and descendants.

6. The majority of the members of the “610 Office” are cunning, evil people. In the beginning, they resorted to shouting, they then turned into hypocrites denying the truth of the persecution or using distorted understandings of Fa principles in an attempt to break down the resolve of practitioners who make phone calls to clarify the truth. They hypocritically try to gain the trust of fellow practitioners and extort information about Dafa activities. They attempt to record conversations with practitioners discussing topics such as ‘Falun Gong is involved in anti-government activities’ or ‘practitioners are forbidden to seek medical treatment or take medication’ and ‘rising into heaven on consummation,’ then they use these tapes as tools to discredit Falun Gong. When clarifying the truth to these people, emphasis should be placed on the fact that illegal detention and torture of practitioners are a form of “human rights persecution, violating rights to freedom of speech and belief” which is a right instilled by the Constitutional laws of China. All we want is the freedom to practise cultivation, achieve a healthy body and become a good person. You can ask him: “Which law have we violated?”

7. Pool together the different tools and information that can be used in clarifying the facts so that the final effect is magnified. The setting up of truth clarifying websites is the beginning of such a union. All practitioners can obtain information and news through this website and also exchange experiences thus improving as one body. Therefore, from now on as a truth-clarifying group we should become one body, forming an indestructible force in Fa rectification capable of eliminating evil, exposing lies, clarifying the facts and saving sentient beings.

8. Besides clarifying the truth actively at each opportunity and having the responsibility of disseminating urgent information on important areas of saving sentient beings, truth-clarifying groups should also take on the responsibility of encouraging practitioners and helping them to overcome difficulties so as to keep up with the progress of Fa rectification. This is a manifestation of compassion and is also an important aspect of cultivation. We should be even more compassionate to fellow practitioners and not let them fall behind on the path of Fa-rectification. Each practise site should form a truth clarifying energy field and assimilate into Fa rectification.

9. We should persist in making at least one phone call a day, continue with determination and not slacken. Otherwise, when you pick up the phone again after slackening, it will be as heavy as a thousand weights. First pay attention to quality then quantity. Try to let the other party understand in one phone call. Don’t stick to formality. Our aim is not making how many phone calls but to save even more sentient beings.

10. “No matter how busy you are, you must study the Fa”, clarifying the truth will then have the power of Dafa disciples. When making the call, maintain righteous thoughts throughout, any hesitation and distracting thoughts will affect the results of clarifying the truth.
