Before the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao’s visit to Germany, the German Federal Department of Domestic Affairs confessed that the actions taken by German police during Jiang Zemin’s visit to Germany in 2002 were illegal.
On May the 2nd, the Chinese Premier will arrive in Germany. The Berlin Administrative Court judge, the representatives of the German Federal Department of Domestic Affairs and representatives of the German Falun Dafa Association officially reached an agreement this week, confirming that the behavior of the Federal Department of Domestic Affairs during Jiang Zemin’s visit to Germany in April 2002 was illegal.
Journalists interviewed Ms Zheng Zhihong, who participated in the lawsuit and attended the meeting.
German police confessed that their behavior in forcing practitioners to leave their hotels was illegal, and that the protest against the persecution of Falun Gong in China by Falun Gong practitioners, even directly expressed to the state guest, belonged to the protection category enshrined in the German Constitution.
The judge emphasised that Falun Gong had been appealing in a peaceful way. To his knowledge, Falun Gong had never used violence against anyone.
German practitioners felt gratified with the attitude of the German government and the justice of the German Jurisdiction. The lawsuit submitted against the Federal German government by Falun Gong practitioners regarding the violation of human rights by the German police ended just before Premier Wen Jiabao visits Germany.
