May the 13th 2004 was the 5th World Falun Dafa Day. It was also the 12 year anniversary since Falun Dafa was made public in China.
In order to celebrate this great day, practitioners from Gothenburg, Lerum and Nossebro gathered in the Kings Sport Square in the centre of Gothenburg to inform people about Falun Dafa and the persecution of those who practise it in China by exhibiting posters, playing music, singing songs and distributing balloons and folded paper lotus flowers.
It was a nice day and there were a lot of people on the street. They stopped their steps. With great curiosity, they walked around us to read the posters, to listen to the songs, to watch the exercises and to talk to us. Many of them stayed with us for quite a while. Some of them sat at the table and learned how to fold lotus flowers with paper.
When they left us with a balloon or a lotus flower in their hand, they also took with them the compassion that Dafa practitioners showed to them.
