On Saturday May the 5th, to respectfully send greetings for Master’s birthday and to celebrate the 5th World Falun Dafa Day, as well as the 12th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the world, practitioners from Frankfurt and nearby cities held celebration activities in Rome Square, which is one of the most popular tourist spots in Frankfurt.

It was a bright and sunny day. Falun Gong practitioners displayed many kinds of exhibits and information materials in the square, and also demonstrated the five sets of exercises. During the time between each exercise, four female practitioners performed the dance 'The Lotus Song’. A lot of visitors stopped to watch and applauded warmly in return. The handmade paper lotus flowers were soon all gone. Groups of tourists, including those who were from Mainland China, all obtained leaflets or Video-CDs to let them know more about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution in China.
The celebration activities finished successfully at 6pm. Afterwards, all practitioners attending the activities held their hands in heshi [traditional Chinese show of respect formed by pressing the hands together in front of the chest] to wish Master a happy birthday.
