Russia Falun Dafa practitioner
On 20 November, Falun Dafa practitioner and well-known artist Zhang Cui Ying together with other Russian practitioners called on several members of the “Duma” [the Russian parliament]. They discussed the issue of human rights in the People’s Republic of China and the illegal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese authorities.
They met the MPs of both the communist and democratic parties. These MPs expressed their understanding of the Falun Gong issue raised by Mrs Zhang. The said that they will surely pass on the printed materials regarding the illegal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners to their party leaders and other party members to facilitate further discussion.
During the conversation, Zhang Cui Ying pointed out that she felt, once again, that Russia has already overtaken China, in terms of democracy and human rights status, and that his meeting had proven it.
