Falun Dafa practitioner Deng Jingping was a 42-year-old lady from Chengdu City, Sichuan Province of China. On the 13th of March, 2004, she was arrested by Chengdu City Police and sent to a Detention Centre. After five months of torture at the detention centre, Deng became mentally disabled. She was then sent to Qingyang People's Hospital. At 12:30 p.m. on the 11th of August, 2004, she died in the hospital.
