UK Falun Gong practitioners held a series of activities before and after the Edinburgh Arts Festival Opening Cavalcade on the 8th of August, exposing the Jiang Regime’s persecution of Falun Gong to tourists from all over the world and local citizens, and at the same time showcasing Dafa’s beauty to the public. The Scottish media enthusiastically reported on Falun Gong practitioners’ activities, giving them a greater impact.
Scotland’s biggest newspaper, "The Herald", published an exclusive in-depth report on Falun Gong practitioners’ torture exhibitions on the 6th and 7th of August on the streets of Edinburgh, including a large photo of practitioners demonstrating torture methods.
On the 8th of August, the Edinburgh Evening News, in its report on the Edinburgh Cavalcade, informed its readers about the Falun Gong parade and the news that they had won a major prize and included the photo of Falun Gong practitioners dancing as part of their Arts Festival photo report. Also on August 8th on the UK BBC website, a photo of Falun Gong practitioners dancing was also published in their Edinburgh Festival photo report.
On August 9th, the Edinburgh Evening News published an article on Falun Gong practitioners’ anti-torture parade in Edinburgh, complete with a picture of practitioners acting out torture methods.
