Germany: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in a Cultural Festival and Demonstrate the Exercises on Stage

To make the Munich Beer Festival extra special, the Munich City Government’s Cultural Office, Social Affairs Office and Foreign Affairs Committee jointly held a Cultural Festival celebration on September the 25th. Several dozen groups were invited to participate in the celebration, including Falun Gong practitioners who were invited to perform on stage.

Although the weather was not so good, with some local showers from time to time, the wonderful programme attracted a multitude of people. The splendid performances provided by various groups from different countries and areas received tumultuous applause time and again. Falun Gong practitioners also provided performances of waist-drumming , dancing and a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises, which added a lot to the splendour of the Cultural Festival celebrations. When some female practitioners performed the Lotus Dance, their graceful and elegant performance attracted a lot of camera flashes. At the precise moment, the sun happened to emerge from clouds, and a ray of sunlight illuminated the stage like a spotlight, symbolising that the sky was smiling on us. In addition, while practitioners were performing the five sets of exercises, the people joyfully accepted the information materials distributed by other practitioners.
