Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Hongbin from Shijiazhuang City and his wife Feng Xiaomei were classmates who had both graduated from the Department of Telecommunications Changchun Post and Telecommunications Institute in 1987. They were later assigned to work in the Telephone Equipment Factory of Hebei Province. Since the beginning of the persecution of Falun Dafa by Jiang's regime, Wang Hongbin's house was ransacked five times. Wang Hongbin was arrested, beaten, tortured, sentenced to forced labour terms, and finally died from persecution on October 9, 2003. He was only 39 years old at the time of his death, and his son was only 13. Feng Xiaomin, Wang's late 34-year-old sister-in-law, died from persecution on June 1, 2004. The following is recent news regarding the situation of his son Wang Boru.

Wang Boru witnessed many occasions where the police ransacked his house like burglars. On the morning of July 20, 1999, over 20 plainclothes policemen broke into his house and arrested both his father and mother. At that time, Wang Boru was less than 10 years old and he was so scared that he cried loudly. After the event, nobody was there to take care of him for over 50 days. He wandered around by himself.
Later, Wang Boru experienced the pain of departure with close relatives in funeral homes. He had grown into a person who deeply understands others' feelings.
