In the morning of January 8th 2005, at Sun Porch Square in the downtown area of Madrid, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners displayed an anti-torture exhibition, showing that Jiang’s group is brutally torturing Falun Gong practitioners in jails and labour camps all over China.

On January 9th, “The State” newspaper published a photo showing the anti-torture exhibition demonstrated by Falun Gong practitioners. The report revealed the practitioners displayed and exposed the various torture methods inflicted on their fellow practitioners in China. According to their introduction, thousands of Falun Gong practitioners have died of torture in Chinese prisons and labour camps.
More than one hundred million Falun Gong practitioners have been practising Falun Gong since 1999. Carlos Iglesias, a lawyer and Falun Gong practitioner for two years, has accused the former Chinese state chairman Jiang Zemin of using torture to persecute practitioners in China.
Falun Dafa is a meditation exercise similar to Yoga or Tai Chi. Practitioners gather to do the exercises in the park every Sunday and teach people free of charge how to practise Falun Gong.
