Mr. Hu Wenjian is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Langfang City, Hebei Province. Half of his body has been paralysed as a result of torture suffered at the hands of lawless officials. He is not able to move freely, engage in normal work or take care of himself. Mr. Hu has filed a lawsuit against the officials involved in the persecution.
Mr. Hu Wenjian started practising Falun Dafa in 1998. After the persecution started in 1999, he presented the facts about Falun Gong to the National People's Congress as well as distributing truth-clarifying leaflets. As a result, he was jailed, tortured and sentenced to forced labour.
