Ukrainian practitioners held a painting exhibition on March 22nd in Slavic City. They also put on a video screening of Master Li’s nine day lecture. This was a special chance for the people of Ukraine as this collection of videos shows Master Li teaching the principles of Falun Gong in China, between 1992 and 1994. The main text of Falun Gong practice, Zhuan Falun, is transcribed from these lectures.
Many visitors who attended the exhibition learned about the persecution that the 100 million Falun Gong practitioners in China have been suffering for the last six years. Residents of Slavic city said the painting exhibition was so wonderful that a lot of people couldn’t help but shed tears as soon as they arrived.
Many visitors, including children, left notes in the guest book. Some of them read:
“It has been a long time since I have seen such a peaceful, tranquil painting exhibition. It changed my fate and my views on the world.”
“Many thanks to the organisers of ‘The Journey of Compassion’ painting exhibition. It led me to experience many beautiful, interesting and spiritual journeys. Thank you very much for making this inspiring exhibition possible. I wish you good luck and everlasting health.”
“Special thanks to the exhibition organisers. I really can’t believe such a brutal persecution still exists in the world today. I hope your compassionate acts will bring these criminals who persecute good people to justice, so that they receive the punishment they deserve.”
Local TV stations also covered the exhibition in their headline news report and touched on the campaign of genocide that is being waged against people who practise Falun Gong in China.
