One Practitioner's Story is Typical of a Hundred Others

On October 29, 1999, policemen arrested 38-year-old practitioner Zhao Qiliang in Tiananmen Square. On October 31, 2001, local police escorted him back to the Longshan Forced Labour Camp. After he was illegally detained for over a month, four or five policemen, including Director Wang, brutally tortured him as he kept on practising Falun Dafa in the labour camp. Afterwards, he was illegally detained for 15 days in the county police department and "fined" 5,000 Yuan. After he was released, he was under surveillance. Over one hundred practitioners were persecuted this way.

Now many determined practitioners are being persecuted in jails, labour camps, and mental hospitals as they are firmly practising Falun Gong. We hope the international society and kind-hearted people pay attention to this issue.
