Denmark: Practitioners gather in Copenhagen to Share Experiences and hold Activities during the Easter Holidays

From March the 24th to the 26th, Falun Gong practitioners from all over Denmark gathered in the capital city of Copenhagen and spent the Easter holidays together. They studied the teachings of Falun Gong, practised the five sets of exercises and shared experiences for the first two days. On the third day, they held activities in Copenhagen city centre to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against their fellow practitioners in China, and also held a peaceful appeal outside the Chinese Embassy calling for an end to this persecution.

It has been five and half years since Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started to oppress Falun Gong in July 1999. At least 1583 Falun Gong practitioners have lost their lives in this enormous human rights disaster and over one hundred million practitioners and their family members have been directly persecuted.

Falun Gong practitioners always hold peaceful activities to oppose the persecution, hoping that the Chinese people can recognise the evil nature of Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party, which damages the future of China.
