On the 25th of April, Ukrainian practitioners held an activity outside Kiev Chinese Embassy to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the peaceful “4.25” appeal in 1999. Although the weather was bad and overcast on that day, Ukrainian Falun Gong practitioners still decided to appeal at the Ukrainian Chinese Embassy. When practitioners stood before the Embassy, the rain gradually became lighter. Practitioners lit candles to remember those fellow practitioners who have died in this persecution. They hoped that more people would pay attention to the brutal persecution occurring in China.
Today six years ago, it was the glorious “4.25”, when ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners protested for the right to freely practise “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance.” Facing the Chinese Communist regime which is famous for autocracy, inhumanity, corruption and deceit, they were magnanimous. Over the last six years, in order to clarify the truth, destroy the seeds of hatred and numbness which Jiang has sown with deceit in the hearts of the world’s citizens, Falun Gong practitioners continued to incessantly tell the facts to the world’s people. An important detail which is to tell people the truth of the peaceful appeal on “4.25”, tell people that this was a meaningful and monumental incident.
During the appeal, a posh car suddenly stopped in front of the practitioners. An astonished face protruded out of the car. It was Yuschenko, the current president of Ukraine. He carefully read the banners held by practitioners, looked at the practitioners in detail, and then drove off.
