Lets say that one day you saw a group of robbers acting violently and killing others on the other side of the hill. Upon seeing this you run to your side of the hill and shout loudly for help. But the police at this side of the hill declare that your shouting is not “authorised by the police station”, and arrest you. However, the other one draws a lesson from it. When he asks for permission to shout for help at the police station, but the police always refuse his request. So what are you then meant to do? If this were me I think I would be over boiled with an urge to condemn them and filled with indignation: “Aren't you meant to be the police? Why aren't you helping others and serving justice?”
Such an incident has taken place. In order to rescue their fellow Falun Gong practitioners who are being subjected to the most barbaric persecution in Mainland China, Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore have made applications for permission to hold peaceful appeals against the persecution of Faun Gong, but they were always refused. Isn't someone basic right to be able to shout “help”, even if it is not allowed by the police? Therefore, two brave young mothers came to Yuweishi park to peacefully practise the slow moving Falun Gong exercises, whilst also raising awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong. Xing Police Station thus accused them of “illegal assembly”; When they sent the CD which truly reflects the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square to the relevant police officers, they received harsh punishment for possessing and mailing unapproved CDs, although unapproved CDs can be found everywhere on the streets. What is more, the mother’s request to have her six month old baby with her was also refused and no one cared about the two mothers’ hunger strike. This is the story of the two Falun Gong practitioners from Singapore being arrested.
People can’t help but ask, so has Singapore turned a blind eye to what is really going on, denying people the right to appeal? However, this is the truth, the dark side which can’t be covered up by Singapore's beautiful gardens, and the real painful nightmare the people there are suffering today.
You may ask, Falun Gong has nothing to do with Singapore. If this is true then why do the police there wants to make things difficult for Falun Gong?
Before the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party took place in 1999, Falun Gong was also welcomed in Singapore. But after 1999, the Singapore Government closely followed the Chinese Communist Parties (CCP’s) footsteps, creating hundreds of difficulties for Falun Gong. The reason is simple: if one falls, the other is in danger; fellow sufferers commiserate with each other. In 2004, Li Guangyao praised the Tiananmen Massacre on 4th June 1989 launched by Deng Xiaoping, saying that if he were at Deng’s position, he would also have killed 200,000 students. It is not hard to see, no matter the Tiananmen Massacre or Falun Gong, the fascist autocracy, which supports the CCP, is entirely for the dictator’s own advantage and is only from his own nature. Therefore, he swears black is white, makes irresponsible remarks without caring about the Chinese people all over the world, and follows the CCP to persecute local Falun Gong practitioners.
Please answer this : Can the CCP, who persecutes Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, represent human being’s proper behaviour? Doesn’t Singapore need Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance? Shouldn’t the Singapore government support such an action of saving people, like urging to stop the persecution, return to morality and justice? Shouldn’t the police support such peaceful and law abiding appeals?
If Singapore doesn’t want to play the jackal to the tiger and help a tyrant to do evil, then please think about the issue at hand.
