On Saturday the 4th of June 2005, a group of practitioners visited Povazska Bystrica, a city with about 40.000 inhabitants in western Slovakia. They demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and exposed the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights crimes against Falun Gong practitioners on large poster boards. People who passed by stopped to sign a petition calling for an end to this persecution.
In the afternoon, the practitioners used their time to distribute about five thousand leaflets to the inhabitants of Povazska Bystrica. Many people said, “Please, give me extra flyers, I will distribute them myself,” or, “Give me some for my neighbours.” The practitioners were happy with the success of the activity and left in the knowledge that many people had learned the truth about Falun Gong.
