Officials Claim: Force-feeding is "for the practitioner's own sake."

Daqing public security system keeps holding Dafa practitioners even when they have served their terms of their sentences. Tian Yingchun and Sun X were illegally detained for one month in the city detention centre and were then transferred to Rang Area for half a month, and then Sa Area until after the term was over. Lu Zhenrong was transferred to Rang Area for half a month after he had been illegally detained for 32 days in Daqing City Detention Centre. Four days after he was released, he was taken away from his home for no reason. Wang Guiyan was transferred to Rang Area Detention Centre for half a month and then Sa Area Detention Centre for two months after she had been detained in Daqing City Detention Centre for 37 days (past the end of her term). However, the police didn't even inform her as to how long her term had been extended.

In the Sa Area Detention Centre, Vice Director Guo Chunguang is very vicious. He doesn't provide blankets for Dafa practitioners who haven't paid their board expenses. He even takes away blankets given by other guards. The Dafa practitioners have to suffer from the cold. Some of them still don't feel well. There is one official there who is not a doctor, and his job is to force-feed Dafa practitioners who are on a hunger strike. A 65-year-old lady didn't come to until several hours after the force-feeding. They justify this by saying that it is "for the Dafa practitioner's own sake."

Recently, Rang Area Public Security Branch illegally arrested four Dafa practitioners. They are Guan Fenglan, Xiao Ailin, Jiao Lixun, and Sun X.
