Mrs. Tang Guiying, 62, was from Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. After July 20th 1999, the Chinese Communist Party began persecuting Falun Gong and broadcast programmes on TV that slandered Falun Dafa. Mrs. Ci Yunling, 60, was a practitioner from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. She had at least 10 different illnesses, which all disappeared shortly after she started practising Falun Dafa. She went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa in 2001. Authorities from the Chifeng City 610 Office (1) arrested her and held her in the Tumuji Forced Labour Camp in Inner Mongolia, where she was forced to do hard labour. She developed mouth cancer and vomited blood constantly. She also developed insomnia. She passed away one year later.
Mr. Liu Zhihong, 61, was a practitioner from Tianjin. He continued his practice of Falun Dafa after the persecution started. He was sent to a detention centre for persecution in July 2001, but was released due to severe hypertension. He was then sentenced to eight years in prison in May 2002. Six months later, he had a cerebral haemorrhage, which resulted from the torture, and was again released. He died at home in September 2004.
Mrs. Yang Xiuzhi, 86, was a practitioner from Helongjiang Province. Her entire family practised Falun Dafa. After the persecution started, the police came to harass them constantly. The police arrested her son and daughter-in-law and threatened her teenage granddaughter. They could not live a normal life. Mrs. Yang Xiuzhi suffered greatly in both body and mind and passed away on April 10th 2002.
