France: Falun Gong Practitioners charge Li Yuanwei, Former Head of the 610 Office in Liaoning

Recently, the World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) learned that an evil person called Li Yuanwei — who has been taking a controlling role in the genocide against Falun Gong as chief of the management branch of Lingyuan Prison and head of the 610 Office* in Liaoning Province — was visiting France to do some research.

Practitioners in France and from other countries worked together to collect and translate criminal evidence of Li Yuanwei’s activities in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. On the morning of the 19th of July, the French Falun Gong Association filed a lawsuit on behalf of those Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted to the department responsible for handling foreign defendants at the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris and charged Li Yuanwei with being responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. The department accepted the lawsuit (serial number: P05-200-0981/2).

A large number of reports on Falun Dafa website Minghui.net showed that since former Communist leader Jiang Zemin's gang began persecuting Falun Gong on the 20th of July 1999, Li Yuanwei personally participated and directed subordinates to persecute Falun Gong practitioners cruelly for self flattery and to gain rewards. Li Yuanwei cheated his own little sister Li Jie, who was a dedicated Falun Gong practitioner, into a car under a false pretense and then directly sent her to Fushun where she underwent brainwashing.

Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Yali, wife of Li Tiexiang, a prison guard at Lingyuan number three prison under Li Yuanwei's administration, was kidnapped to Masanjia Labour Education Camp for two years of illegal labour ‘re-education’. Li Yuanwei and his subordinates often used brutal forms of torture such as electric shocks in attempts to force Falun Gong practitioners to renounce their beliefs, causing many innocent practitioners to die, go insane or be seriously wounded.

Li Yuanwei and his subordinates also persecuted practitioners through imprisonment, brainwashing, kidnapping, extortion, physical punishment, surveillance and persecution at work.

Li Yuanwei persecuted Falun Gong for his own self interests, as the Chinese Communist Party rewards people who brainwash and suppress practitioners. He made practitioners’ family members bear enormous physical and spiritual suffering. In this tiny area of China, a lot of people are relatives, friends, neighbours, classmates and colleagues. Li Yuanwei owes a debt of blood to the local practitioners as he has hurt their relatives and friends, and endangered society.

Here, we sternly warn evil persons like Li Yuanwei who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners: it is a heavenly law that good and evil will be rewarded or penalized. Stop persecuting Falun Gong immediately. Giving up evilness and returning to goodness is being responsible for one's own future. Otherwise one will be punished by law and condemned by Gods.

* The 610 office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
