Geng Meiying, female, 58 years old is a retired teacher from the Jiaotou Town Primary School in Wuji County, Hebei Province. Since July 20, 1999, in order to let the people of the world know the truth about Falun Dafa, she sent truth-clarifying materials to the county government. The corrupt officials were very angry and shocked; they detained Gen Meiying for half a month. After she went home many police went to her home to harass her frequently. This year on December 16 Geng was arrested after she sent Falun Dafa materials to a fellow practitioner. The Wuji Police Department sent her to the Jin County detention center. Geng has an 80-year-old mother and a disabled husband at home and now there is no one to take care of them.
