Fifty-one-year old Chen Biyu, an employee of Fuzhou Industry and Business Bank, was arrested and taken from her home on September 26, 2001 for no reason other than her refusal to give up her practice of Falun Dafa. While in detention, she was subjected to various forms of torture. Then, though mentally healthy, she was sent to a mental hospital where she was injected with powerful drugs that are designed to be used only on mental patients.
Chen Biyu died of torture at the end of October last year.
