Falun Gong practitioners intend to file a lawsuit against the Chinese Procurator General when he will be attending a conference for prosecutors in Copenhagen.

It’s about the Chinese Procurator General, Jia Chunwang, who will be holding a speech Monday morning at the Scandic Hotel in Copenhagen at an international conference for public prosecutors.

Spokesperson Marco Hsu from the Danish Falun Gong Association says, that he will file a complaint against Jia Chunwang to the State Prosecutor for Special International Crime-cases. Chunwang has, according to Falun Gong, among other things been a leader of a special office which has lead the Chinese government’s campaign against the movement since 1999.

”Since Jia Chunwang has been minister of public security and one of the leaders of the special office, he has had influence on what all the sub-departments of that office have done of persecution and torture”, says Marco Hsu.

Abuse

The Chinese Government banned Falun Gong in 1999 [...]. The American foreign ministry has estimated that more than two thousand Falun Gong practitioners have been mistreated in the custody of the authorities. The movement says that over a thousand have been killed.

Lawyer Tyge Trier, who is the legal adviser for the Falun Gong practitioners, said already a year ago that Chinese living in Denmark would be filing a Lawsuit against important members of the Chinese Government if they came to Denmark.

He says that material from the UN, Amnesty International and the American Foreign Ministry have documented that “it has been very violent, there has been abuse and torture against Falun Gong”.
