On the evening of October 9th 2005, police from Lushunkou District in Dalian City, Liaoning Province stormed into people's homes and arrested five Falun Dafa practitioners.
At around 8 p.m., led by Station Heads Jin Dewen and Kong Dedong, police stormed into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Yuqin's house and arrested Ms. Liu and four other practitioners who were visiting. Police did not give any reason and did not notify their families.
At around midnight, Ms. Man Chunrong's children woke up, and found that their mother had not returned home. They started looking for her, and learned from Ms. Liu Yuqin's husband, that they were all arrested. The two kids went to the police station and were locked outside the gate for more than two hours.
Police ransacked these five practitioners' homes, did not find anything they wanted, but still refused to release them. Police have them detained in Lushun Detention Centre. Their families still have not received any notices from the police.
