Recently, Diao Dechang of the Police Bureau of Luancheng City, was appointed director of the police bureau in Guan County, Shandong Province. He has declared publicly that he will eradicate Falun Gong. He said that the whole county would work together to "meet, visit, register, search, and arrest" Falun Dafa practitioners (especially those who had previously been arrested or sentenced) during the October 1st holiday. He required each town to handle two practitioners.
On September 27th 2005, Wang Kejun, head of the police station in Fanzhai Town, Guan County, Shandong Province and Meng Jianxin, the town Party Secretary, led a group of people to ransack the house of Falun Dafa practitioner Fan Shuxin. They arrested him and sent him to a detention centre.
On September 27th, Zhang Yudong, a Falun Dafa practitioner who had been released from a forced labour camp, had his home ransacked and was arrested again. He was detained in a detention centre for further persecution.
The detention centre has detained from two to thirty Falun Dafa practitioners. On October 4th, after a group of practitioners were directly sent to a forced labour camp without trial, there were still four female practitioners and two or three male practitioners held in the detention centre.
