On October 15th 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from the UK held activities at a busy business centre in the Welsh Capital, Cardiff, to let people know about Falun Gong and at the same time reveal the facts about the persecution taking place in China.
Many people came one after another to ask for more information about Falun Gong and the persecution. They also signed the petition prepared by practitioners. In addition to giving away a large amount of English-language leaflets, pamphlets and other materials, all the Chinese-language pamphlets they had were used up, which indicates that the overseas Chinese people have come to change their understanding of Falun Gong. Due to propaganda from the Mainland, many Chinese people were suspicious of this peaceful practice, but now that they have had some time to learn the truth, things are changing for the better.
