Ms. Liu Yugui, age 59, was a resident of Tielinghe Town, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. Her home was repeatedly ransacked and she was fined over 6,000 yuan1 because she practised Falun Dafa and told the facts of Falun Dafa to people.
In June 2002, her eldest daughter, Liu Lihua, was "arrested" by lawless officials for exposing the persecution and sentenced to seven years in prison.
Her younger daughter, Liu Fenghua, was arrested while posting posters exposing the persecution in Qingdao City and taken to a forced labour camp for three years.
Ms. Liu Yugui was arrested when she went to the city police department to look for her daughter. She was held in the Xinglong Detention Centre for over three months. She was so brutally treated that she could not even walk. In October 2003 she was arrested again by the Yangming Police Branch and confined to a metal chair for six days. Both her mental and physical health were severely compromised. She died on October 29th, 2003.

Ms. Wan Su'e was 50 years old and lived in Qianjin Village, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province. Before she started to practise Falun Dafa, she had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and arteriosclerosis. She overcame these illnesses after she began practising Falun Dafa.
After Jiang Zemin's regime started to persecute Falun Gong, she was repeatedly harassed and threatened by the local police and village security director. In June 2002 officials took her to a brainwashing centre, where she was tortured and coerced to finally give up Falun Gong. After she was released from the brainwashing centre, her neighbour monitored her all the time. She could not escape surveillance.
On July 1st, 2005, she showed symptoms of a cerebral hemorrhage and passed away.

Ms. Feng Huaizhi, over 50 years old, was a family member of an employee of Shandong Province Shengli Oil Field, Second Ore Division. After the persecution began, she was harassed. Her workplace sent people to monitor her so that she could not study or practise Falun Gong. Later she showed signs of serious illness and passed away.
