Jiang Zemin's Policy of Persecution Permits Criminals to Openly Threaten People's Lives

On October 11, 2001, in order to have the right to practice Falun Dafa and to protest against the persecution, several Falun Dafa practitioners and I started a hunger strike. At 6:00 a.m. the next day, I was sent to a "strict observation room." Those who monitored me were two people serving "double forced labour" sentences. One of them was once sentenced to a 15-year prison term. They threatened, intimidated, and violently forced me to eat. One of them said, "It's so common to have people die here. Whoever dies is placed in a plastic bag. Then a label is affixed to it, and the body is dragged away." He then added, "If you don't eat now, by the time you feel like eating, you won't be allowed to eat. When you die of hunger, we will claim you had committed suicide to reach consummation." At around 8:00 p.m., one of them said ferociously, "If you fall asleep, I am going to choke you to death. Then I'll falsify an account of what happened. Isn't it so easy to kill you? No one would ever know what really happened."

Under the instigation of the Jiang regime's policy of " brutality and lies," even a convicted felon dares to openly victimize Falun Gong practitioners without fear of consequences.
