Details of the Persecution Leading to the Death of 53-Year-Old Ms Wang Xiuqing in Jilin Province

During the past six years, the Chinese Communist Party has brutally persecuted Falun Gong. Ms. Wang Xiuqing is one of the millions of practitioners affected by this persecution. She has been arrested four times, subjected to brainwashing twice, and detained in the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Changchun once. The long-term persecution affected Ms. Wang physically and psychologically, and it took her life on November 3rd, 2005.

Ms. Wang Xiuqing, 53, was living with her parents in Taiyang Village, Longjing City, Jilin Province. After her parents passed away, Ms. Wang led a hard life alone. Her health was very poor back then. In 1997, she came across Falun Dafa and began practising. Her chronic illnesses rapidly disappeared, and she regained good health. Ms. Wang told every friend that "Falun Dafa is wonderful" and "Dafa saved my life."

When the persecution started in July 1999, the Laotougou County police arrested Ms. Wang and took her to a brainwashing class, which was organised by the Longjing City government. Ms. Wang was later transferred to the Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp, where a female warden named Wang Limei tortured her using various methods. Torture could not force Ms. Wang to renounce her belief in Falun Dafa. She walked out of the labour camp.

Since then, Ms. Wang continued to expose the persecution. Laotougou Police again arrested her and persecuted her in the Longjing City Public Security Bureau. Ms. Wang escaped again but she was forced to become homeless.

The severe persecution destroyed Ms. Wang's health. She died on November 2nd, 2005.
