On New Year’s Day 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Rome headed for the Thai Embassy to protest and submit an open letter to call on the Thai government to boycott the CCP’s exportation of the persecution and to insist on justice in the hope that a bright future would be chosen by the Thai government.
On December 15th 2005, three male, two female Falun Gong practitioners and their three children, ages five, six and fourteen practising the exercises opposite the Chinese Embassy in Bangkok were arrested. They are all refugees from China under the protection of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. They were eight of twelve Falun Gong practitioners who had protested across the road from the Chinese Embassy every day since December the 6th to protest against two female Falun Gong practitioners being raped by a Chinese policeman and the six years persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party. When the investigator of the Thai Immigration Bureau Mr. Wikorn Jarupruch inquired about the detained Falun Gong practitioners, he indicated that the Thai policemen followed the Chinese Embassy’s instruction to harass them.
