Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang County, Hubei Province is a dark lair of persecution for Falun Dafa practitioners. In recent years, vicious people here have been brutally torturing Falun Dafa practitioners, concealing the truth, and blocking all news from inside the prison. However, just as paper cannot cover up a fire, we will expose how they have brutally tortured Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Qingshui.
On June 29th, 2005, after Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Liu Qingshui from Wuhan City was sent to the Fourth Division of the Fanjiatai Prison in Shayang County, because he refused to wear prison clothes and also called out loudly "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is Good", and "Falun Dafa is Good", the prison's Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) Political Commissar Liu Muyang, the Prison Division Chief Xiao Tianbo, the Political Instructor Xiong Zuguo, the Deputy Political Instructors Wang Qingyi and Zhang Jianguo (all male) personally instructed prisoners to repeatedly beat Mr. Liu.
On the afternoon of August 18th, 2005, in the brick factory, the prison guards forced Mr. Liu Shuiqing to do strenuous physical labour. Because Liu Shuiqing refused to cooperate, they ordered prisoners to hang a black sign around Mr. Liu's neck to humiliate him and also to use iron wires to hang bricks from his body. Prison guard Wang Xiongjie led others to punch and kick him. Upon seeing how the prison guards were beating him, other prisoners joined in the beating. As a result, Liu Shuiqing's ribs were fractured.
On the morning of August 19th, in the prison office, the guards knew that their beating had already severely injured Liu Shuiqing, but they still slapped his face. There was also a prison guard shouting threats including, "It is no big deal to beat one or two people to death in a prison."
On the evening of August 19th, prison guards Liu Muyang, Xiao Tianbo and Xiong Zuguo again ordered prisoners to beat Liu Shuiqing. Within the short period of two days, the prison guards had put Mr. Liu through extensive and severe torture. Even bystanders who witnessed the abuse started to shed tears.
