On the afternoon of February 11st, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Kansas held a press conference in the Lackman Library regarding the incident in which Falun Gong practitioner Dr. Peter Yuan Li was assaulted and robbed in his Atlanta home by agents of the Chinese communist regime. The practitioners urgently called upon the public and American government officials to stop the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) terrorist acts in America.
Following constant telephone threats, blacklisting and denial of the legal extension of passports, the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in America has risen to a new and more violent level. Now they have even forced their way into a resident's home in broad daylight to badly beat a scholar and "ransack his home." This is a tactic often used by the CCP. In October 2004, the US Congress passed Resolution 304, which called for the Chinese communist government to stop the persecution of Falun Gong, and stop harassing and persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in America. But the CCP regime turned a deaf ear to the resolution, and continues to commit crimes in this free land.
This crime shocked the public and congress members of Kansas. Kansas practitioners also send their strong voices to the American government to severely punish the perpetrators of this crime and guarantee the safety of practitioners in this free land.
