Amazing Recoveries through Practising Falun Gong

My grandmother was saved by practising Falun Dafa

My grandparents have been kindhearted and hard-working all their lives and are both over 80 years old. When my mom, their only daughter, died, my grandmother suffered from the shock and her health declined. She was forced to go to the hospital in May of 2005 to find out what was wrong with her.

When I saw my grandmother, I felt very bitter. Her face was sallow and weary. She had an ultrasound, a CT scan and an MRI showed a tumour in her liver, possibly cancerous. The doctors said a woman of her age in this condition would probably not live for more than half a year, and an operation would be very risky. She could do nothing but take medicine and go back home. Her fever persisted, she could not eat, and the transfusion she'd had was causing her a lot of pain, but there was nothing we could do.

I really wanted to have my grandmother listen to Teacher's¹ lectures, but I had many reservations. I worried about others finding out, since she was already on the verge of death. If she died, they might think badly of Falun Dafa. I finally let go of all misgivings, and thought: Hearing the Falun Dafa teachings can only be beneficial to any life. Why should I be concerned about curing her diseases? I just want her to hear the teachings, so she can at least fulfil her predestined relationship. I took my MP3 player to her, and urged her to listen to one lecture per day, every day.

First I had to persuade my grandfather, since he looked after her. I could not stay with her, since I was faced with persecution for appealing for Falun Gong. My grandfather was sceptical but still hoped for the best. Miraculously, after Grandma listened to the lectures for just three days, the long lasting fever retreated. She stopped taking anything except for some digestive aids. Her health improved day by day and I felt that I no longer had to worry about her health.

Then, after a while, Grandma fell ill again. My grandfather had begun to doubt that it was possible to have diseases cured just by listening to the Falun Dafa lectures, so he had stopped letting her listen to the lectures for a long time. I went back to persuade him again. I was able to convince him to let her listen, and he also read the book "Be Saved from a Desperate Situation" that I took him. When I went to visit for Chinese New Year, my grandmother was able to eat again. Grandpa said to me in tears, "I read the book you gave to me. It is true! Your grandma recovered!"

I recovered from hepatitis B after starting to practise Falun Dafa

I am an undergraduate student, and I started to practise Falun Gong in 1998.

In 2004, I took the College Entrance Exam and was accepted by a university. Everything went well, but my mom was unhappy because I had a history of hepatitis B. Many people know that hepatitis B is a difficult disease to get rid of, with little chance for a cure. Since you carry it in your blood, you will always test positive. One must pass a physical exam to enter university, and my mother was concerned about my hepatitis showing up.

At the beginning of September I went to the university to register. In mid-September we went to the clinic for the physical exam. Several other students were badmouthing Falun Gong. I remembered that my mother had once told me, when coming across people slandering Falun Dafa, we can send righteous thought to eliminate the evil factors. I silently recited the formula for eliminating evil, and after three or four minutes, they stopped.

Shortly afterwards, we had the blood test. I had been worried that the school would refuse to accept me due to my hepatitis, but I was admitted and entered the university with no problems. A month later, the gym teacher told us during a physical exam that over 40 university applicants had been rejected because of liver problems. Tears came to my eyes since I knew that my liver disease had completely disappeared. Falun Gong saved me. It was Teacher gave me a second life.
