Holland: Raising Awareness about the Persecution with Picture Exhibitions in City Centres

Recently, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners have been using their free time on Saturdays to hold picture exhibitions in the Dordrecht, Den Bosch and Zutphen city centres to expose the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong, calling for people’s support and collecting petition signatures to support suing former Chinese Communist regime leader Jiang Zemin, who is responsible for launching the persecution against Falun Gong.

These activities have drawn attention and concern from the general public. Kind-hearted people were shocked at the inhumane persecution happening in China. Not only did they sign the petition to support Falun Gong, they also encouraged practitioners with “well done”, “wish you success” or “I hope that more people will be able to find out about the persecution.”

A gentleman signed the petition to bring Jiang to justice. A practitioner asked him whether he wanted a leaflet, but little did we expect him to reply that he already had one. He said, “I’ve always been concerned about this persecution happening to Falun Gong in China, I strongly support your activity today.” The practitioner gave him a website address and told him that more information could be found there. The practitioner also asked him whether he wanted to know why the Chinese Communist Party persecutes Falun Gong. He replied yes, and was given a copy of the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” from the practitioner.

Two young girls were standing not too far from the picture exhibition. A practitioner went to offer them leaflets, and told them about the suffering of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They quickly looked through the posters and told the practitioner that they will sign the on-line petition to condemn the persecution. The practitioner suggested to them to sign the petition on the table now. The two girls happily went over and signed the petition.

Once when two practitioners were demonstrating the sitting meditation exercise, a group of youths came over and said, “Are they sleeping?” Another group was listening to practitioners explain the persecution, and one of the girls said to them loudly, “Please respect them, did you hear me? Respect these people.”

Three Israeli girls were looking at the pictures which revealed how the CCP tortures Falun Gong practitioners with excruciating torture methods. Some practitioners went over to explain to them about the pictures, and they signed the petition. After a while they came back, and told us that they were looking for their mother, because they wanted their mother to sign as well, and contribute her share to opposing the persecution.

At Zutphen, practitioners told some citizens about the incinerator and in-built crematorium in the CCP’s Sujiatun Concentration Camp and how they murder Falun Gong practitioners on a large scale and sell their internal organs. Upon hearing this, people were astonished and expressed their wish for the international society and the media to pay attention to this incident.
