On April 27th, 2006, an elderly lady from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province came to the Gongnong District Police Department in Hegang City for the eighth time. She requested to see her daughter Yin Haizhu, who is detained and whose life is in peril. Ji Jianjun and a person surnamed Yuan, the two officials who are in charge of the case, gave the lady the run-around, telling her to go to see their supervisor. When the lady found police chief He Qingyan, he told her that deputy chief Dong was in charge of the case. But when she found Dong, Dong was very rude and refused to let her see her daughter.

The elderly lady said that her daughter has been on a hunger strike for two months and her life is in great danger, and the police department officials will be held responsible if something bad happens to her daughter. Dong said that she would not die.

Since Dafa practitioner Yin Haizhu was arrested on February 27th, 2006 by agents from the Gongnong District Police Department in Hegang City, she has been on a hunger strike in the Second Detention Centre in Hegang City, to resist the persecution. In the beginning of April 2006, she was transferred to the Hegang First Detention Centre. There is information that Yin Haizhu is already skeleton-thin. As Ms. Yin's life was in great danger, her family members went to Hegang City many times to demand her release, but agents at the Hegang Police Department refused to let her family members see her. Even so, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime officials still plan to fabricate charges against her to give her an unjust sentence.

This time Ms. Yin's mother insisted on seeing her daughter. Ji Jianjun let her go to the First Detention Centre to wait, and he also demanded her to convince Yin Haizhu to "confess her crimes". The elderly lady waited in the detention centre for over two hours, but she was not allowed to see her daughter. So she had no choice but to take over one hour going back to the Gongnong Police Department. Ji Jianjun said, "As the city officials have given no approval, we have no other ways. You can go to the city police department to see Ma Baotai."

The lady explained her request at the city police department. The person on duty said that administrator Ma Baotai was in his office in the Nanshan District Police Department and not in the city police department. So she went to Nanshan Police Department, but the persons there told her that Ma Baotai had already been transferred to the city police department over two years ago. So she went back to the city police department again. A kind-hearted employee there told her in a low voice, "Don't believe their lies. It is of no use, no matter how hard you try. There are no laws regarding Falun Gong cases."

In this way, the almost 70-year-old mother, faced with police deception and lies, travelled between four places for over a hundred miles in one day. She wasted nearly ten hours without being able to see her daughter. All she got were two made-up documents showing that her daughter had been arrested and detained on criminal charges.

It has been learned that authorities have been trying to fabricate some infractions to cite Yin Haizhu with "Obstructing Justice with an Evil Cult Practice." Her case documents have already been sent to the Gongnong District Procuratorate in Hegang City by now.

Yin Haizhu is still on a hunger strike.
