On May 21st, 2006, police knocked on the door of Ms. Li Huixin's home, but she did not answer. The police then stayed outside of her apartment and in the yard 24 hours a day. It remains unclear what the police intended to do.

Recently someone told Ms. Li that the WOIPFG (World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong) had arrived in Beijing and wanted her to go to Beijing to tell her experiences. Not long ago, Ms. Li’s sister, Li Huiqi, also a practitioner, was tortured so severely that she was in a vegetative state in Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp. Her story was published on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. Ms. Li had originally planned to go to Beijing to meet with the WOIPFG, but changed her mind as it appeared somewhat suspicious. The person who told her about it was even upset upon learning that she was not going to Beijing.

While it is possible that the reason the police are pursuing Ms. Li is related to the above incident and the fear that the family will protest, in fact, Ms. Li’s family has already filed a lawsuit, but the court did not accept the case.

Ms. Li Huiqi was born in 1967. She used to have a happy family life. As the result of persecution in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp in 2002, she has been paralysed and bedridden ever since.

Although Changfeng Police Station police besieged Ms. Li Huixin this time, the order actually came from Shijiazhuang City Police Department and was passed down level by level.
