In order to protest the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and to commemorate Chinese practitioners who died in the persecution, Falun Gong practitioners in Macau hosted a candlelight vigil in the park facing the Chinese Liaison Office. The practitioners read part of the "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China" by a team of independent investigators.

During the activity, two tourists from mainland China passed by. They read through the banners and yelled excitedly, "Down with the Chinese Communist Party! Down with the Chinese Communist Party! " A practitioner told them that there were already 12 million Chinese people who have openly withdrawn from the Communist Party. They said happily, "The Communist Party is so bad. It needs to end quickly." Hearing their talking, other tourists came and read the banners.

The commemoration ended after sending forth righteous thoughts at 10:00 p.m.
