Australia: Queensland Falun Gong Practitioners Protest the Persecution in Front of Chinese Consulate

On July 20th, 2006, Queensland Falun Gong practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Consulate to protest the 7-year long brutal persecution and the recently revealed atrocities of organ harvesting. They called on people from all circles to take action to end the genocide.

At the rally, a representative from the Free China Queensland Chapter gave a speech. She said: "In the past 7 years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has implemented a most brutal and beastly persecution against Falun Gong. To date, it has been confirmed that nearly 3,000 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death. However, this is just the tip of iceberg. Recently, former Canadian state secretary (Asian Pacific) and senior MP David Kilgour together with international human rights lawyer David Matas formed an investigation group. On July 6th, 2006, in their investigation report entitled "Report Into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China", they concluded that allegations of the CCP’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners were true.

"Today, besides protesting the atrocities of the CCP, we also appeal to all kindhearted people to extend your helping hands and support the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG)" to enter China to conduct an independent and full investigation so that we can end this brutal persecution as soon as possible."

When practitioner Mr. Wang gave a speech, a group of Chinese teenagers passed by. Pointing to photos of practitioners persecuted to death by the CCP, he called on the group. He said: "Come to see, boys and girls. These (pointing to photos ) are practitioners persecuted to death by the CCP. They only wanted to be good and healthy people by following the principles of ‘Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance’. However, they were brutally persecuted and killed by the CCP. Perhaps you have not heard about these things in China because the information is blocked. Fortunately, you have this opportunity to come abroad. Please look at the truthful information and real situation. Falun Gong practitioners can freely practise here and there are hundreds and thousands of practitioners in more than 60 countries. Why would only China ban the practice and persecute practitioners? Boys and girls, think about this rationally, you will find out that the CCP is an evil totalitarian regime…"
