Sweden : Exposing the CCP’s Organ Harvesting Crimes during the European Athletics Championship - Part 1

Between the 6th and the 13th of August, the European Atheletics Championship is taking place in Gothenburg. The culture and entertainment event EC Party is happening at the same time and 200,000 people are expected to visit the city. These events have given Swedish practitioners an opportunity to reach many people and inform them about the persecution against Falun Gong, as well as the Chiense Communist Party’s (CCP) heinous practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to sell for profit.

Every day since the 4 th of August practitioners have been going to ”Drottningtorget” (Queens Square) close to the Central Station in Gothenburg, whether it was baking sun or heavy rain. They told people about the cruelties committed by the CCP against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Practitioners performed a re-enactment of the live organ harvesting and used loudspeakers to tell passers that this is really happening in China. Other practitioners were giving out flyers and talking with passers by; many people signed a petititon calling for an end to the persecution.

A senior citizen, who found out about the persecution and was concerned for practitioner, personally contacted one of the city’s most important newspapers to let the local reporters know that there was an important happening that they need to report on.
