On August 26th, 2006, only six miles away from the Sujiatun District, Liaoning Province (the secret concentration camp that harvested organs from living Falun Dafa practitioners), the truth of this horrible crime was broadcast to the area by practitioners who successfully tapped into the cable TV network on the mountain near Zhouguan Village, Dahenan Township, Dengtai City, Liaoning Province.
Local people said they watched the programme exposing the persecution for about an hour and a half, with a power outage occurring once in the middle, but the programme continued after the power came back on.
The day after the network tapping incident, the Central Public Security Bureau sent one official, and other officials came from the Liaoning Province Police Department. Local policemen surrounded Dahenan Township, not allowing anyone in or out. They started a large-scale harassment of local Falun Dafa practitioners. Practitioners were forced to have their fingerprints taken, and all people within or outside the area with businesses, including taxi drivers, were also forced to have their fingerprints taken.
At least ten Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested, but most were released. Mr. Cui Enyong was sent to the local brainwashing centre after the authorities extorted one thousand yuan1 from him. Ms. Li Xiulan had her home ransacked due to her refusing to be fingerprinted, was extorted for two thousand yuan, and was sent to Masanjia Labour Camp. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution, and was tortured until her lower body was paralysed and her life is in danger.
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) said it must solve this case within one month. The Liaoning Province Police Department and Dengtai City police officers are busy doing harm locally, to carry out the order.
Departments joining this round of persecution are the CCP Public Security Bureau, Liaoning Province Police Department, Liaoyang City State Security Division, Dengtai City State Security Division, Dengtai City Police Department, various district police departments in Dengtai City, and police stations in each town and township.
