Finland: Supporting the Fourteen Million Withdrawals from the CCP

On October 7th, 2006, almost two years after the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published and as the number of Chinese withdrawing from the Communist Party and its organisations reached fourteen million, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers of the Service Centre for Quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Epoch Times newspaper held some activities in front of the Central Train Station Helsinki to support fourteen million Chinese withdrawals from the CCP and its organisations, to expose the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP and CCP’s inhuman crime of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners.

They displayed banners in both Chinese and Finnish reading ‘The Nine Commentaries on CCP has triggered great tide of withdrawals from the CCP’, ‘Condemn CCP’s Crime of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners in concentration camps’. Also on display were some historical photos showing the atrocities of the CCP and its killing of eighty million innocent Chinese and posters about the torture that Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to since the start of the persecution seven years ago. In particular, the posters about organ harvesting on live Falun Gong practitioners which was revealed early this year attracted many people’s attention. Some stopped and read the posters. Others went directly to the table and signed the petition to support the fight against the persecution and to help Chinese people to withdraw from the evil CCP.

The practitioners and volunteers who were distributing leaflets could always hear people saying ‘Thank you’, ‘We support you’, ‘Well done!’

When a couple was signing the petition, they asked the practitioner at the table whether their government could see this petition. Practitioner told them that last Wednesday when meeting an official from the Foreign Ministry, practitioners handed in the petition signed by over six thousand Finnish people to call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioner wanted them to pass on their deep gratitude to the Finnish people. That couple said, you were doing very well and carry on.

A Chinese young man started filming practitioners and volunteers as soon as he saw them. One practitioner went to greet him and asked him if he had read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. He said yes but he asked many questions:

‘Do you know any party in power who did not kill? Not all of that eighty million people were innocent, some of them were bad.’

“China is so big with such a big population and their quality of life is so low, it is difficult to rule for anyone, it is inevitable that mistakes will be made.”

‘Why are you saying China is not good here outside China?’

“Falun Gong can just talk about themselves, why are you saying China is not good, you must have some purpose.”

Firstly, practitioners told him that the CCP was not in a position to represent China and the CCP and China were not the same issue. It had been almost two years since the publication of the Nine Commentaries, but the CCP did not dare to respond. The Nine Commentaries had touched the weakest point of the CCP and the CCP could not refute any evidence listed in the Nine Commentaries. CCP is in fear of Chinese people reading and spreading the Nine Commentaries and withdrawing from the CCP. Lawyer Gao Zhisheng was arrested because he openly denounced the Communist Party and spread the Nine Commentaries and wrote open letters for Falun Gong. Pilot Yuan Sheng had to seek asylum in the US just because he spread the Nine Commentaries and urged people to withdraw from the Party, the Youth League and the Young Pioneer. They are both examples.

Then practitioner told him that Falun Gong is just a cultivation group whose members do five sets of exercises every day and follow the principles of ‘Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance’. But since July 20th 1999, Jiang Zemin and the CCP started its genocidal policy of ‘Defaming their reputation, bankrupt them financially and destroy them physically. This March, the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting on live Falun Gong practitioners for huge profit and burning bodies to destroy the evidence was revealed. The crime of the CCP is intolerable. Should not the victims want justice for themselves? Should not the Chinese people who have been deceived know the truth? Falun Gong practitioners and other righteous people who are spreading the Nine Commentaries and urging people to withdraw from the Party are trying to bring an end to the persecution, to awaken people’s conscience and they are saving people!

After listing the facts and talking about the Nine Commentaries for over two hours, that young man finally accepted the Nine Commentaries and Falun Gong information booklets practitioners gave him with smile on his face. Before he left, practitioners asked him to read the Nine Commentaries carefully without any inherent notions and as soon as he understands he should make a renouncement on the Epoch Times’ website and choose a bright future for himself. That young man gave practitioners an understanding smile.
