Practitioners Tortured in the Interrogation Room of Harbin Police Department

The Interrogation Room of the Harbin Police Department is a place where the police brutally persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. The police blindfold practitioners who are being unjustly held, bringing them to this gruesome place for inhumane torture. Some practitioners are forced to sit on a "tiger bench" (Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall. Practitioners' knees are tightly tied on the small bench - "Tiger Bench." He has to sit straight up with his eyes looking straight ahead. His hands are tied behind the back or sometimes placed on his knees. He is not allowed to turn his head, close his eyes, talk to anyone, raise his hand or call out for the attention of the guards. Many inmates are assigned to watch the practitioner. If he turns his head, they would force the practitioner to hold his head in that position indefinitely. If the practitioner raises his hand to call the attention of the guards when his hands are placed on his knees, they would force him to hold his hands in the air indefinitely. If he speaks, they would force his mouth to remain open indefinitely. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioner' lower legs or ankles to make it more painful for them. Some are hung up and beaten and then have their legs scratched with small broken pieces of glass. Some have been beaten with mops while their heads were covered with plastic bags. When the mop handle broke, the practitioners were forced to drink filthy water from the mop bucket. Some were shocked with electric batons, and some were burned with cigarette butts. Some had their arms twisted behind their backs, with one arm above the shoulder and the other below in a torture form called "carrying a sword." The practitioner' hands were then handcuffed till sometimes the handcuffs cut into the bone. A wooden stick is then inserted between both arms in the back. Various gruesome torture methods are too terrible to observe. Overnight, practitioners often passed out due to the severe torture. Cold water was then poured on them. The cries of those being tortured and the vicious look of the thugs are the true picture of the so-called "best period for human rights in China' history" when in fact Jiang' group widely persecutes innocent people. The evil is afraid of being exposed. The despicable police officers wiped bloodstains off Falun Dafa practitioners before sending them back to detention centres so that other cellmates would not know what had happened.
