Editors’ Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution.
Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
1. Xu Jiufei, Head of Administration Group at Yushu City Detention Centre in Jilin Province, Dies after Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners
Xu Jiufei (male), 52, was the head of the Administration Group in the Yushu City Detention Centre in Jilin Province. He actively engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. On one occasion, when he was viciously beating a female practitioner, he shouted, "Don't worry! We have a limit of three beaten-to-death cases each year." Soon, he suffered from retribution. In December of 2006, Xu died from lung cancer.
Zhang Fuxue (male), from the Yushu City Detention Centre, is also suffering from the misery of liver cancer and is undergoing treatment. We hope that all detention centre guards and state security officers who have engaged in the persecution of Falun Dafa will stop their wrong deeds and hurry up to make amends and salvage their own future.
2. Retribution of One Who Actively Followed Party Orders in Quzhou County, Handan City
Yu Mingchen (male) was from Nanyangzhuang Village in Anzhai Town, Quzhou County, Handan City, Hebei Province. Ever since the persecution started in July of 1999, Yu was anxious to follow orders given by Party officials in Anzhai Town, and he was devoted to his job of tearing off and painting over Falun Gong truth-clarifying signs. Yu received immediate retribution; he acquired a strange illness and pus filled his body. A tube was inserted into his abdomen, and he was not able to go to work. Not only did he stop earning a salary, he had to pay his own medical expenses. Yu Mingchen did not last long before he died.
3. Wang Daoxiang, Head of the Security Section of the Qing County Police Department in Cangzhou City, Hebei Province, Died from Retribution
When the persecution against Falun Gong illegally started on July 20th, 1999, the Cang County Party Committee took four practitioners to the police department. Wang Daoxiang (male), former head of the Security Section, actively participated in the persecution. He stepped on the portrait of the founder of Falun Dafa. He boasted, "You can call for retribution, because I'm not afraid." The same year, Wang developed bone cancer in his leg. He was hospitalised in Beijing for several months, which cost him over a million yuan. He died in excruciating pain.
Zhang Fajun (male), former head of the Political Security Section, was also active in carrying out the persecution. He engaged in breaking into practitioners' homes, collecting unlawful fines, detaining practitioners and sending them to forced labour camps, and dismissing them from their jobs. Recently, Zhang developed numerous illnesses. He knew that he was facing retribution and quit the Political and Security job and became a doorkeeper for a company.
Wang Jilin (male), former deputy Party secretary of the County Party Committee, has coordinated several campaigns to persecute practitioners. Several dozens of practitioners have suffered from persecution due to his activities. When he was still in his position, Wang was diagnosed with diabetes, and he had to take an insulin injection each day.
