Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp Tortured Practitioner Ma Yongqian Until He Was in Critical Condition

In November 2001, practitioner Ma Yongqian was detained at the Changlizi Forced Labour Camp for clarifying the truth to people. This young man in his twenties was tortured so severely in the camp that he became very skinny and pale. He was confined in a small solitary cell, where he was unable to stand or sit. Both of his arms were handcuffed in a twisted condition. A normal person would have lost consciousness in a short time, but the vicious police guards locked him inside for 24 hours. Another cruel torture was to strip off his shoes and coat in the winter. Ma Yongqian had to lie on the cement floor without a coat or shoes. When we saw him, he was only slightly recovered from the cold after being allowed in a heated room for half an hour. The coat and shoes he wore were temporarily taken from other detainees by the police guards, and he was so weak that he could only walk a few steps. Not long after we met with him, he was beaten with such ferocity that he was at the brink of death. The guards sent him to the Respiratory Department of Harbin City Medical University First Hospital. We have had no information about him since then.

The criminal responsible for this is Shi Changjing, director of Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp.
